Daisy Etemesi,

Daisy is currently involved in client management, business development and project management. Daisy has led assignments with VisionFund International around asset sale, acquisitions and assessment of health and impact of franchises in the group. These assignments were in Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
Previously, she worked at Standard Chartered Bank in Corporate Banking where she was responsible for Public Sector and Development Organizations clients including Kenyan microfinance institutions. She was involved in origination, risk analysis, portfolio management and interacted with a wide spectrum of banking products such as structuring loans and bonds, bespoke trade offerings and hedging products to mention a few.
Daisy also worked under the Leverage and Structured Solutions team of the bank in South Africa where she was involved in debt restructuring, acquisition financing, bridge loans and structured capex financing. Daisy worked at Metropol as a credit analyst and as a business analyst where she analyzed credit information from various credit institutions such as banks, microfinance institutions and SACCOs. She created customized credit scorecards for financial institutions on request and improved the existing credit scoring algorithm.
Daisy is a graduate of the University of Leeds where she was awarded an MSc Economics and Finance (Distinction). She received a Bachelor in Business Science in Financial Economics from Strathmore University.
